Q: How many people can travel in one bus?
A: Our mini buses accommodate up to 11 passengers.

Q: How many buses can I book?
A: Please contact our booking team to arrange the number of mini buses required for your trip.

Q: How far in advance do I need to book?
A: Weekends are filling up quickly, so we suggest you book well in advance but at least 48 hours prior to your trip.

Q: Is there a cancellation fee?
A: A cancellation may apply. Please refer to our Terms- and Conditions for details.

Q: Can I hire a bus without a driver?
A: No all of our buses are operated by a licensed driver.

Q: Are the buses wheelchair accessible?
A: Our buses are not wheel- chair accessible, however, as we’re affiliated with Geelong Taxi Network we can help with providing a Wheelchair Accessible Maxi Taxi which transports two wheelchair bound passengers.

Q: Do your drivers have a Working with Children check?
A: Some of our drivers do, so if you require a driver with a working with children check please advise at the time of the booking. All of our drivers have a Driver Accreditation Certificate which requires a police check.

Q: What if my plane is delayed? Will the driver wait for me at the airport?
A: Please provide your flight details at the time of your booking and update our booking team on any changes. For international flights our drivers will check the Estimated Arrival Time on the day and will plan the pick-up time accordingly. For domestic flights, passengers must call the driver directly on the phone number provided by our booking team at the time of booking.

Q: What if our plans change on the day and we require a MyBus longer than expected?
A: We will try to accommodate any changes to your booking depending on availability on the day. Extra charges may apply.

Q: What happens if a guest becomes sick on the bus?
A: It is the right of our drivers to decline transporting intoxicated persons. Cost for any damage to the bus or cleaning fees will be passed on to the customer.

Q: Can I bring my pet on the bus?
A: Guide dogs and Assistance dogs which are clearly identified can travel with you at any time. All other animals are welcome but must travel in a suitable animal travel crate or cage.

Q: Do MyBus Geelong buses have child seats?
A: We don’t supply child seats, but parents/carers are welcome to bring their own. Please be aware that they are responsible for the correct installation of the child seat, not the driver. All mini buses have anchor points and seat belts, but not an Isofix restraint system.

Q: Does MyBus transport large items?
A: Please contact our booking team and discuss which items you would like to bring as we do have trailer that can be booked additionally for no extra cost. We do not transport any luggage without at least one person travelling in the bus.

Q: Are food & drinks allowed to be consumed on the bus?
A: No, strictly no food or drink particularly alcohol is to be consumed on the bus.

Q: Is smoking allowed in the MyBus vehicle?
A: We have a non-smoking policy that applies to drivers and passengers. This includes the use of e-cigarettes.

How to book MyBus door to door airport transfer

MyBus is offering a door to door airport transfer service to and from Avalon Airport. The Charter will offer a fixed rate from as little as $40 per person, one way!

To book your seat on the MyBus Airport Transfer please call 1300 169 287 that’s 1300 1 MYBUS or email [email protected] during business booking hours.

Our booking team will be available Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm. To ensure a spot on the transfer bus, please book at least 24-36hrs in advance during our office hours. Please confirm in your email that you are requesting an Avalon Airport transfer, with your date and drop off or pick up location.
